Can you see the resemblance?
From the day Anna was born all I have ever heard is how much she looks like Scott.
Now don't get me wrong, I love my husband and I love the fact that she does have a lot of his features but c'mon give me a little credit...I've got to be in there somewhere!
Well the jokes on all of you naysayers because last night while I was at work Scott and Julia got Anna all gussied up for her Girl Scout party and when I got home Scott showed me this...

Thank you ladybugs!
Layla & Kevin over at The Lettered Cottage, one of my most favorite blogs to visit for inspiration were having a giveaway of a fabulous canvas made by Dee at Red Letter Words.
And I won!
Isn't she a beauty?!
Ok ladybugs you can stay a little longer...

under the weather
Anna has been home with strep the past 2 days...
In other news, we are being completely taken over by ladybugs. All of those little black dots are ladybugs. If you click to enlarge the picture you can really see the little buggers. I keep telling myself it's good luck. Lord knows we could use some....
Check out what our bathroom looked like this weekend and this is after Scott repaired the water line he cut while I was at work. With a little luck it's only up from here!

Swim Bike Run
Here are some photos from the girls' first youth triathlon. Everyday my daughters make me proud in so many ways big and small. Today was a big day. They worked so hard and showed amazing support for each other.
Scott volunteered and arrived at 6am to set up the route, attend to parking and finally helping the 7-10 year olds in their transition area.
Sometimes the waiting is the hardest part.
Julia (far lane) was pretty nervous about the swim. She stayed focused and had fun with it! I was beaming!
I made it outside just in time to see her take off on the bike. Go Julia!
Digging deep at the finish line! She ended so strong!
"Is this thing real?"
A huge thank you to all that pulled this event together for our children, The Essex Board of Health, Hilltop Training, Manchester Athletic Club, the volunteers the list goes on and on. What a turn out! Almost 140 budding triathletes participated. Our children are all better people having had the experience.
Guess who has Tri fever now? I think Jane is in for next year!
